Apple successfully ousted Hewlett-Packard in the last quarter as a maker of portable computers in the world, this result was driven by strong sales despite the iPad tablet. According to DisplaySearch data Apple has sent more than 10 million notebook and tablet computers in the last quarter which they control 17 percent market share, or nearly one million more than the HP, which has 15.6 percent.
Samsung said on Thursday that he wants to be No. 6 player in the global mobile PC market this year from seventh place last year.
